A positive communication environment is a vital component of any team-based competitive experience. We have always prioritized speech moderation in-game, and we continue to pay close attention to your feedback regarding toxic behavior. Whether through text or voice chat, behaviors such as insults, malicious harassment, discrimination, and hate speech not only hurt other players but also destroy normal in-game communication and the overall match experience.
Recently, we have further escalated our penalties for speech violations. For verified offenses, we implement appropriate disciplinary actions based on the nature, severity, and historical record of the violation. We will enforce significantly harsher penalties against players involved in severe offenses or repeated violations. At the same time, we have launched a dedicated Moderation Policy page (https://www.marvelrivals.com/moderation/1316189/) to help players better understand our in-game speech moderation rules and related mechanics.
We respect the right of our players to express differing opinions, but normal communication and discussion should never become an excuse for malicious attacks, discrimination, or the harassment of others. Our stance on moderating toxic speech is clear and resolute. We will absolutely not treat these behaviors as acceptable simply because they are unfortunately common in competitive gaming. Speech moderation is an ongoing, long-term commitment. Moving forward, we will continually refine our systems for identifying, reviewing, and penalizing toxic speech to constantly improve the game's communication environment. We also encourage all players to actively use the reporting function when encountering speech violations.

During our recent investigations into account violations, we discovered that certain Mods utilized by players involve memory injection and modification behaviors. Because these methods employ the exact same or similar technical maneuvers as cheat engines, they instantly trigger our Anti-Cheat detection mechanisms. Furthermore, some Mods alter the game's original visual, auditory, and combat presentation, severely jeopardizing the fairness of the game. The characteristics of such violating Mods include, but are not limited to: • Modifying Structural Models or Textures: Creating an asymmetrical line-of-sight between players and granting an unfair vision advantage. • Eliminating Weapon Recoil & VFX: Removing screen shake, bullet trajectories, and impact visual effects. This drastically reduces standard operational interference during combat, making it uncharacteristically easy to aim and track targets, thus granting an unfair competitive advantage. • Altering In-game Audio: Modifying footsteps and other sound effects, making it significantly easier to acquire or identify the location of enemy players. • Enlarging Character Models: Modifying enemy character models to make opposing units far easier to spot, identify, and target.
Any of the modifications listed above can grant players an unfair competitive advantage, destroying the intended combat experience. We strictly prohibit any Mods or behaviors that disrupt game balance, and we will take decisive disciplinary action against them according to our rules. To players who had their accounts suspended over the past two days due to the use of these specific Mod types: we have already lifted those suspensions. We want to be absolutely clear that lifting these suspensions does not mean we are permitting the use of these Mods or their modifications. Instead, it is our sincere hope that, now fully informed of the situation, the affected players will make the right choice to proactively stop using and permanently delete these Mods and their modifications, and return to standard gameplay. Moving forward, any continued use of these violating Mods will still be penalized according to our rules.
We urge all players: if you realize that a Mod you are currently using or planning to use exhibits any of the features listed above, please cease using it immediately. Shut down the related programs and delete the Mod files along with all modifications they have made to your game content. Please pay special attention and ensure that you delete violating .asi files such as pystubber.asi and MarvelRivalsUnmountBlocker.asi. These files execute operations that directly trigger the Anti-Cheat system's detection for unauthorized client modifications. Also, we encourage players to report these types of Mods to our operations team. If your account has been banned due to the use of a Mod, but you believe there are special circumstances or that the penalty was applied in error, you may submit an appeal through our official Customer Support channels. Our team will process your case accordingly after verifying the specific details. Our goal has always been to strike a balance between player customization and a fair competitive environment. As long as the fairness of the game is not compromised, we want to preserve the space for our players to freely choose how they play.
However, we will enforce strict management measures against any tools or Mods that have the potential to destroy game balance and create an unfair competitive advantage. Maintaining a fair gaming environment across the Chronoverse is essential to protecting the experience of every single player.
