FAQ | The Chucky Content
We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it's now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.
On November 24, 2026, the Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores. Any content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game.
To celebrate his time in The Fog, the content of the Chapter will be on sale on all platforms starting today, giving you a chance to unlock the Character and Cosmetics before they leave the store.
When will Chucky content be unavailable to acquire? Chucky content in Dead by Daylight will be unavailable to acquire after 11am ET on November 24th 2026. With Chucky, our focus continues to be ensuring the character’s legacy within our games for fans who have unlocked him or plan to do so before 11am ET on the 24th November 2026. The DLC will be removed from all Platform Stores on this date.
What will be the last date to unlock Chucky and related content? Fans of Chucky will still be able to unlock the character until 24th November so we encourage those who have yet to acquire Chucky (as well as his cosmetics), to do so before then to ensure themselves ongoing access to the content moving forward!
If I own the DLC and/or characters will I still be able to play with them?
Yes. Any content unlocked before the November 24th deadline will remain playable in game.
What happens to the Perks from the chapter? Chucky’s three perks will remain unlockable in his bloodweb with the original names and flavour text, if you have already unlocked the character prior to 24th November. For players who have not unlocked Chucky, the perks will appear in the General perk pool to be available to unlock on any other Killer immediately. These General perks will appear under new names:
- Hex: Two Can Play will be called Hex: Eye For An Eye
- Friends Til the End will be called One Track Mind
- Batteries Included will be called Gaining Steam
Will I still be able to level up Chucky and obtain his Add-Ons? Yes, you will still be able to invest your hard earned Bloodpoints into Chucky and his Add-Ons.
Will I still be able to Prestige my character after 24th November and receive the Prestige rewards?
Yes. If you have unlocked Chucky prior to 11am on the 24th November 2026, you can still level him as normal and unlock his three Prestige Cosmetics as well as the three Perk Charms. His other Cosmetics will need to
be obtained from the in-game store prior to this date also!
Will I still receive Quests for the Characters that I own? For all the characters that you have unlocked, you will still receive Quests, so that remains the same as the current behaviour.
